NCPUL, under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, is one of the largest and prestigious projects under implementation by KITL, where the company is providing turnkey solutions for a large base of 105 centers of NCPUL across the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering 19 states and 60 districts.

KITL is providing complete infrastructure by way of software, hardware, faculty and related services for imparting computer training for a large number of persons under this project. KITL's main objective in this prestigious project has been to generate medium level professionals through IT literacy to ensure career advancements and benefiting people right from the grass root level of the society.

What is of greater significance is that the Urdu language can flourish more when it can be linked with new technologies? The introduction of One year Diploma Course in Computer Application and Multi-Lingual DTP (English, Hindi & Urdu) has been a significant initiative of NCPUL aimed at transformation of the Urdu speaking community in to a technology oriented productive workforce in the emerging technological scenario. The emphasis has been on generating a new breed of professionals with IT literacy to enable them secure rewarding career opportunities as

DTP operator, Visual Designer, Data Entry Operator and Accounting operator. To strengthen NCPUL's efforts, books have been specially designed by BPB publications for distribution to young men and women of the Urdu speaking community so as to ensure their technical skills and viability for rewarding career opportunities in the future.
