Satya educational institutes began shaping up in the year 2004 under the young and able leadership of the Kathuria Group of Industries (www.kathuriagroup.com). In just a short period of time, the group has acquired commendable skills and expertise in diverse businesses such as IT Turnkey Projects, Real Estate, Hospitality and Education. It has a network of offices and establishment all over the country and is considered “head and shoulder above the rest” in values, quality, mission and commitment in all operations.
Kathuria Group has recognized the importance of pragmatic and professional education at all regional and national levels. The Group has promoted several institutions beginning with the Kathuria Information Technology Ltd. (KITL). KITL is an ISO -9001-2000 Certified Company and a premier organization in the field of IT education, corporate training, and turn-key solutions for IT education and Manpower for IT enabled services & Data Processing. KITL is working under the mandate of NCPUL which itself is under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. As one of the largest and prestigious projects under implementation, KITL is providing turnkey solutions for a large base of 105 centers of NCPUL across the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering 19 states and 60 districts of India.
In order to increase its commitment to professional technical training and education, Kathuria Group is now at advanced stage of launching an Engineering College in Palwal- about 70 kms. from the national capital Delhi.
More recently, with a view to underline the importance of integrating management and technical education, Kathuria Group launched Satya Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT). To begin with SIMT offers MBA and BBA programs in full time, part time and distance modes. Because of its vision, mission and energy, it has been recognized as the Noida center of the Tilak Maharastra University, Pune. The programs offer the UGC recognized degrees as mandated under the rules of the UGC and UGC for a deemed university that Tilak Maharastra university. SIMT degrees are thus full legal and recognized for employment or further studies in India and abroad.
In addition, the Group launched Satya International Institute of Management (SatyaIIM) for bringing international; program and services to the Indian corporate and business world. It has tied up with Marketing Aims Inc. Canada for India’s first management program on International Retailing and Logistics Management programs. The Two year Diploma program offers world class education in management, marketing, retailing and logistics and has a provision for the students to study and do industrial training/ internships in Singapore. Satya IIM is also in discussion with the De Montford University, Leicestershire UK, for joint programs and several other institutions in the USA, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Singapore and Taiwan for other international programs in management.

Teaching Methodology
The teaching methodology includes lectures, tutorials and student-led classroom discussions. All faculties make extensive use of cases, business simulations and audio visual presentations. Each of the courses taught have mandatory sessions conducted by experts in the area drawn from business and academics. There are commonly held special sessions by renowned academicians and practitioners. The evaluation of students of various courses has components of continuous assessment as well as end term assessment.
Lecture Theaters
The institute has spacious, air-conditioned, well-lit and echo proof classrooms to facilitate the teaching-learning process. All classrooms are provided with modern audio-visual systems including LCD projectors. All classrooms are designed for conventional lectures and group discussions.
Computer Centre
The Institute has high speed workstations to facilitate fast computation. All workstations are on Local Area Network with round the clock, high speed Internet facility and equipped with latest application software. The Institute provides facility of personalized mailing system for staff and students.
Multi-Purpose Hall
The Institute has got a spacious Multi Purpose Hall to conduct various Programs, Seminars, Debates, Quizzing, Group Discussion, Mock Interviews, Management Games, Personality Development Programs, Talent shows etc.
Library
The Institute has a spacious and well stocked Library. Library has a large spacious reading room, which provides a congenial environment and total concentration for study and research. It has vast collection of latest books pertaining to the subject, reference as well as for general reading. To develop the right values in students and assist them in overall development, the institute has a wide collection of appropriate books on ethics and social issues. Books are issued to the students as per the rules & regulations of the library.
Accommodation for Outstation Students
The institute has its own hostel facility for boys and girls. All rooms are equipped with a bed, study table, computer point and an attached bath.
Placement Assistance
Institute has always been in constant consultation with the industry peers in its endurance to build up a strong foundation for the students to become professionals in their areas of specializations. The institute has scheduled various industry & field visits for its students to take a live stock of the situation prevailing within the industry & has also identified grey areas for special & guest sessions from the industry stalwarts. The parent organization is also in the position of absorbing some of the students itself.
